Prior to taking over at ProWriters Brian spent roughly two decades in the insurance industry in claims, underwriting, and leadership roles. Prior to taking the reins at ProWriters, he was the Southwest Regional Executive and Senior Vice President at Hiscox Inc.. He started their Los Angeles office to serve the southwest region for all products. Before that, Brian was the Mid-West Regional Executive and opened the Chicago office for Hiscox to serve Midwest brokers for all products. He also served as the Hiscox Technology E&O and Cyber Product Head for the United States. Prior to Hiscox, Brian was an underwriter at Chubb and an underwriter and claims adjuster at National Union (AIG.) While there, he focused on complex Professional, Management, and Cyber Liability risks.

Chris has almost two decades of experience in strategy, operations, and technology leadership roles. As COO, Chris oversees day-to-day operations with a focus on Cyber IQ product management, carrier integration, and strategy.

Prior to ProWriters, he was a Director at PwC Advisory. Prior to PwC, his career included time with Booz & Company, Booz Allen, and Accenture. He partnered with large clients with expertise in revenue management, operational excellence, and strategy. His experience includes leading several acquisition integration teams and using predictive analytics to develop pricing and sales strategies.

Chris has earned a BA from Gettysburg College and an MBA from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Rob has over 26 years of private equity and chief financial officer experience. Rob was a founding partner of Pine Brook Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on energy and financial services sectors. Prior to co-founding Pine Brook Rob served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury Services for Arch Capital Group (NASDAQ: ACGL), a Bermuda-domiciled insurance company with $3 billion in capital.

Rob currently serves as a senior advisor and consultant to growth businesses at all stages of development. In addition to his work with Nice Recovery, Rob is a director of Essent Group Ltd. (NYSE:ESNT); Clear Blue Holdings, Inc; Wellington Insurance Services; Nice Recovery LLC; among other growth equity businesses.

Tom has over 20 years of corporate financial management experience in privately-owned small and medium businesses. Tom leads ProWriters’ finance function, including accounting and controls, treasury, budgeting and reporting, and he will oversee integration and ongoing financial management of future acquisitions.

Prior to ProWriters, he created finance teams from scratch for two successful start-ups. He has led or held determining roles in private debt and equity financings in excess of $500 million in a variety of industries. Tom has earned a BA from the College of Wooster, a MA from Cambridge University, and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Phil is president of Venture Insurance Programs, a national program administrator for select industries, including golf & country clubs, hotels & resorts and fitness, wellness and spa operations.

He has more than 35 years of experience in all facets of property and casualty insurance, and is an entrepreneur and influencer who identifies market needs and works to find a solution. Phil started Venture in 1993 and prior to founding Venture, he started Philip J. Harvey & Co., Inc. in 1977 as a regional general lines insurance brokerage serving large commercial accounts.

Phil is a past member of Target Markets Program Administrators Association’s board of directors and is a frequent speaker at numerous insurance and industry events.

Prior to joining ProWriters, Zane started his career in cyber insurance in 2007 with specialty brokerage INSUREtrust, where he eventually became the CIOO and a partner. During his time there Zane built one of the cyber markets’ first small business solutions for multiple quotes and a comparison.  As the Director of Broker Development, Zane will focus on onboarding new agents as well as working with our team to deliver training, education, and marketing related services to all of our brokers. Before his insurance career, Goldthorp was an avid competitive golfer and was a 3-time 1st t Team All-American and 2002 NAIA Player of the Year at Berry College. After his college career, Zane spent 3 years competing professionally on the NGA Hooters Tour.

Jenn has 20+ years in the Insurance Industry. Excel in Management and Leadership with working in large and small environments, leading teams within both development and services. She has worked for large insurance brokerage firms and has expert knowledge in case management, licensing, and surplus lines tax filings. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the office.

Colin started his career as an external financial auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm. He then worked in financial reporting, data analytics, and project management roles in various industries. Colin excels at aligning segments of a business to find innovative solutions to everyday challenges. He loves cultivating relationships and working towards operational efficiencies. His responsibilities at ProWriters include growth and management of the Cyber IQ platform as well as carrier API integration.

Colin earned a BS and MS in Accounting from the University of Alabama.

Bill began working in the insurance industry in 2015 as a Professional and Management Liability Wholesaler placing accounts nationwide. Prior to joining ProWriters he was an Assistant Vice President and A&E/Environmental product leader at a top wholesale firm. At ProWriters, Bill brokers a variety of Professional, Management and Cyber Liability risks and builds relationships with both retail agents and insurance carriers.

Bill is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and holds a BS in Advertising from West Virginia University.

Alain has been in the Insurance Industry for 20 years with previous experience working at several large Insurance companies underwriting Directors and Officers, EPLI, E&O, and Cyber products. Brokering experience includes review, negotiating and placement of insurance coverage with insurance carriers, maintaining business relationships and developing new ones.

He is Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, a member of PLUS, and holds a BS in Finance and Economics.

Angelina began in the insurance industry in 2017 with a Nationwide Professional and Management Liability wholesaler in the Philadelphia area. She has experience in working on various lines of coverage but had a focus in Management Liability. At ProWriters, she will be handling a variety of Professional, Management and Cyber Liability as well as building relationships with agents and carriers.

Angelina is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Neumann University.

Justin began in the insurance industry in 2020 with a global insurance carrier in the Philadelphia area. He has experience in working on various lines of professional liability coverage but had a focus in cyber insurance. At ProWriters, Justin brokers a variety of Professional, Management and Cyber Liability risks and builds relationships with both retail agents and insurance carriers.

Justin is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and holds a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University.

Conor began in the insurance industry in 2019 working at a Berkshire Hathaway wholesale brokerage. Prior to joining ProWriters, Conor had placed and bound thousands of accounts for a variety of coverage lines, but specializes in cyber and tech E&O. Conor will use his product knowledge and experience working with both retailers and insurance carriers to broker a variety of cyber, professional & management lines risks.

Conor is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, has a BS degree in business administration from the University of Scranton, and has also obtained his RPLU designation.

Jared began working in the insurance industry in 2019 while completing an internship for one of the area’s top wholesale brokerages. During this time Jared was a part of the administration team, where he assisted brokers and the marketing team with their day to day duties. At ProWriters, Jared will be assisting brokers and agents in placing Cyber & Professional Liability risks.

Jared is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and holds a BS in Communication Studies from Bloomsburg University.

Maggie got her start in the insurance industry in 2019, while completing an internship at a large MGA. After finishing school, she went to work at one of the area’s top insurance carriers, placing accounts for a variety of coverage lines. At ProWriters, Maggie will be assisting brokers and agents in placing Cyber & Professional Liability risks.

Maggie is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and hold a BS in Communication Studies from Saint Joseph’s University.

Connor began working in the insurance industry in 2021. During his time at one of the area’s top wholesale brokerages, he specialized in Miscellaneous Professional Liability as an Associate Broker. At ProWriters, Connor will be assisting brokers and agents in placing Cyber & Professional Liability risks.

Connor is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and got his BS in both Business Management & Marketing at King’s College.
